The FLIR LS-XR is a high-performance thermal monocular designed for law enforcement, search and rescue, and serious civilian users. Based on the proven FLIR Scout PS-Series, the LS-Series adds professional-grade enhancements such as a high-resolution 640×512 thermal detector, a 35mm lens, 4x electronic zoom, and an integrated laser pointer.

Compact and lightweight—about the size of an AN/PVS-14—the LS-XR delivers the ability to see in total darkness, detecting heat signatures from people, animals, vehicles, and other sources through smoke, dust, fog, snow, and light rain. This makes it a powerful tool for tactical operations, perimeter security, and outdoor navigation.

The ergonomic housing is purpose-built for rapid deployment. It fits comfortably in the hand or vest pouch, with one-handed controls and a single focus knob. The intuitive design allows officers or users to operate the device without needing to look away from their environment.

The LS-XR features an internal rechargeable battery with up to 5 hours of runtime. While the battery cannot be swapped in the field, it recharges easily via a direct power connection.
